Carlos Enrique Palau Salvador is a full professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València, where he earned both his Telecommunications Engineering degree and his PhD. His research centers on distributed real-time systems, network security, IoT, and large-scale communication infrastructures, all closely tied to cloud-edge computing. He has led and participated in major Spanish and European R&D projects involving advanced networking, 5G, industrial AI, and smart data platforms. With more than 60 journal articles, 200 conference papers, and a senior membership at IEEE, he is a recognized contributor in the field.
